March Favorites 2016
It’s FRI-YAY!! Woo Hoo! To celebrate, I thought I would go ahead and share my monthly March favorites a little early. Partly, because it is Friday and partly because they are all so cute – I couldn’t wait any longer!
It’s no secret I love sweet tea & JESUS! So, when I saw this kitchen towel – I didn’t hesitate to snatch it up. I also bought this for my momma too. (SHE LOVED IT.)
I’ve been using this cute Texas trinket dish to store the earrings I wear the most often. ( The website only had North Carolina, but if you can find a local store or call them to see how you can order it. I live in Texas and they only had Texas dishes in the store.)
(Shout out to my dear friend, Jennifer. She bought me these earrings as a bridesmaid gift. I adore them! They quickly became a favorite.)
Now that it is Spring and soon to be Summer, I got to bust out the shades.
These sunglasses are the best. Mine are an old pair, so I linked a pretty blue pair – that I have my eye on. They are super affordable (talking $20 or less!) and they are durable. I ALWAYS lose or break my sunglasses, so these have been great. They are also John’s favorite brand of sunglasses.
How cute are these puppy Thank You cards from Target. I am SO behind on birthday thank you’s. Hoping to take sometime this weekend to get these sent out.
Those are all the little treasures I have been loving this month! I tell ya, the monthly favorites post has turned into a post I really look forwarding to putting together. I hope y’all enjoy it too!

Usually when shopping for my friends and fam, I tend to be a "one for you & one for me" kind of shopper and I end up spending my entire Christmas budget and my husband never has anything left to surprise me. This year, I decided to break the cycle and not buy myself anything in December. (Besides Christmas decorations, I just can't help myself.) Anyways, I say all of this to tell you that I have had to be creative this month to keep from buying myself what I like to justify as "Christmas Outfits." So, here are my favorite, go-to staple pieces for December!
I love Spring. I love the new, the fresh, the clean, all of it. I also enjoy the chance to decorate our house again and give it a new look. If you are in need of some Spring decor inspiration or just want to see what we have going on over at the Lyons' house then this post is for you.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's! John was LITERALLY in the city of love over Valentine's! (Would have been so romantic, if I could have gone too! haha!) But since he had to go for a training and I couldn't go - we will be celebrating Valentine's/my birthday this weekend!
