Beermosa – Takes brunch to the next level & is husband approved!

Carribean Margarita: If you are over the winter weather & are ready to be sitting on a beach somewhere tropical, this drink is for you!

Strawberry Slush:Combinesfresh fruit, sweet wine, and the tartness of lemonade.

Cotton Candy Cocktail:Cotton Candy…need I say more?! My go-to girl’s night drink! You can also sub out the Moscato with champagne!

Sharks on a Beach:This drink was inspired by John’s love of Shark Week & his obsession with the Sharknado movies!

Blackberry Mojito:Pleasant mix of white rum, blackberries, and a little hint of mint!

Cotton Candy Cocktail

This presentation of this drink is just too perfect! It is super girly, pink, and feels a little like a science experiment! (You will see what I mean, when you make it!) It is sweet, but the cotton candy doesn’t over power the drink, like I expected it too. It is just the right amount of cotton candy flavor.

Ingredients:

• Cotton Candy
• Pink Moscato

Directions:

This is honestly the simplest drink you will ever make. Take a handful of cotton candy and put in a wine glass, then pour chilled pink moscato on top! You will see the cotton candy start to dissolve really quick – it was kinda of like a science experiment and made it even more fun!

Voila! That is all there is too it! Too add an extra special touch, I made little name tags for each girl and had individual bottles of moscato. I already had the cotton candy out in the glasses, but do this at the last possible minute, because the cotton candy starts to harden when it is left out too long. Ingredients

1. 3/4 oz Malibu
2. 3/4 oz Captain Morgan
3. 2 oz Pineapple Juice
4. 1 oz Blue Curacao
5. Splash of Grenadine

Instructions

1. Fill glass with ice
2. Pour Malibu and Captain over the ice
3. Add Blue Curacao
4. And finish with the pineapple juice to create a nice layered drink
5. For fun fill a shark toy with Grenadine and use it to add it to the drink for a "blood" in the water effect

Notes

1. If you don't care about the layers of the drink then just combine all of the ingredients, stir and enjoy

The decoration would be a great add if you were hosting a shark watching party. The sand is just brown sugar and I got the sand buckets from the miniature doll house section at Michael’s.

Blackberry Mojitos

If you follow us on instagram, you may have seen that we have been guest posting on At Home with Kristyn Cole lately. We recently shared this recipe on her blog and HEB even shared it on their instagram! We were so excited and really wanted to share this with y’all to enjoy as well!

Ingredients:

• 1 Cup of Blackberries (save some for garnish)
• 4oz White Rum
• 10 Fresh Mint Leaves
• 2 tsp of Sugar
• Juice of 2 Limes
• 6oz of Club Soda

Directions:

• In a shaker, muddle* the mint leaves and the sugar with either a muddler or a wooden spoon
• Puree the blackberries in a blender or you can muddle them as well (I just used my magic bullet)
• Add blackberries, rum, and lime juice to the shaker with the mint and sugar
• Shake it vigorously (or like a polaroid picture as you sing the Outcast song now)
• Add ice and club soda to a glass and then pour in the blackberry mixture
• Gently stir and add blackberries and mint for garnish
• Enjoy

*To muddle means to press the ingredients against the side of the glass, this will help release the flavors of the ingredients to mix well with the drink.
